On Chrome are you getting the message, This site uses a java plugin that is not supported?  Here is the easy fix...

I needed to enable the use of java plugins on chrome for school and work.  I dug around and found an easy fix.  This works for me, may not for you, but it was a quick fix.

Just put this in your web browser - chrome://flags/#enable-npap   Then click on the enable link, should be the first one in the list.  

You should also be able to click on this link below instead of typing it in.

chrome://flags/#enable-npap

Here is what to look for.

Enable NPAPI Mac, Windows
Enables the use of NPAPI plugins. This flag will be removed in Chrome 45, along with NPAPI support. See g.co/npapi
